Jim Froud

About Jim Froud – Trustee at SLI
My early career was in oil and gas exploration mainly in the North Sea, and I subsequently became a boat builder in Norfolk, before returning to academic studies, which led into the IT industry and 25 years of experience of working around the world with computer systems, websites, databases and digital images.
Retiring from Adobe UK, I obtained a Foundation Degree in Ecology and Conservation Management and trained as a Forest Schools leader.

In 2007 I became Chairman of a local children’s charity – Musical Keys (Registered Charity 1151915) which my wife Moira had set up in 1992.
I joined SLI in 2008 as a grower at Bluebell South Allotments and have been developing the website and newsletters ever since.
I am also a Trustee of the Norfolk & Norwich Naturalists’ Society (Registered Charity 291604) – Membership Secretary and Assistant Treasurer.
