Sustainable Living Initiative hosted the third Outdoor Project Network event at Marlpit Community Garden on Tuesday evening – 12th July 2016. Thirty-four people met up and were shown around. We were 22 outdoor-related groups and were shown around by volunteers from SLI.
Mahesh Pant addressed the visitors and explained what SLI is and how we run MCG. We saw the wildflower and herb garden, sheep, fruit cage, orchard, the forest garden, the bee-hives and of course the allotments. We then had refreshments and cakes made by Mahesh.
Here are some other photos of the event –
Thanks to Louise Curtis for organising the meeting: this is what Louse said,
”Many thanks for joining us on the visit to the Marlpit community garden last Wednesday. It was lovely to meet you all. I hope you enjoyed it and found it useful. A big thank you to Mahesh and Sustainable Living Initiative for hosting and making us so welcome.”
