Varieties

Modus   A superb, medium-early, very productive dwarf bean. The dark green, straight, 15cm pods are wonderfully 'fleshy' and completely stringless. Resistant to bean mosaic virus and tolerant to anthracnose and halo blight.

Slenderette   A maincrop variety with dark green 17cm stringless pods. High yielding and delicious, and particularly good for freezing.

Speedy   Early maturing, about 4 days before Maxi, perfect for growing two crops a year with spring and summer sowings. Fleshy 13-14cm pods on bushy, strong plants. The pods can also be picked young as filet beans. Resistant to bean mosaic virus.

Tendergreen   A strong-growing, stringless variety with fleshy, light-green pencil pods which freeze well. Well known for its fine flavour too.
